Sweet new use for my cell phone

So, I am checking out some materials at the Harper library and I found a new feature of the I-Share libraries: texting the call number of your books to your phone.  Brilliant!  Great use of an electronic/telecom interface that requires the transfer of information (especially something as complicated as call numbers) to a different format.  Usually, the transfer would be a lot of hand-eye transcription, but why waste the time or the confusion of missing just one of those characters in the string?
