A cooking metaphor for student teaching

I like to watch a lot of those competitive cooking shows.  Perhaps my favorite was Top Chef on Showtime (a channel I unfortunately do not get anymore, bummer).

I now look at student teaching as my massive kitchen.  Problem is, the kitchen is massive and thus has so many burners on the stovetop that I struggle to manage all of the front burners, let alone the back.

So, here I go again, bringing food into everything I do.  And also somehow finding a way to incorporate technology into my two drives.
