ICE11: (new) Twitter friends

I’ve been tinkering with Twitter for a while, but it took until ICE 2011 for me to really get into using it. Many fellow professionals/colleagues here are touting its amazing benefits for professional development (developing a professional learning network or “PLN”), and I’ve got to second/third/etc their recommendations. In the two days that I’ve been at ICE, I’ve found more people to follow and gained my own new followers than I’d ever imagined. There were even a couple people I found in the same session, and we started our own “backchannel” discussions during the presentations. So, cheers to networking and Twitter!
