In this week’s session, learn about the many sources that can provide you with the content to do your first basic flip — a curated flip.  Below, check out our agenda and resources.

Agenda

  • In each of the stations (TED, Khan AcademyPBSLearningMedia and ETV Streamline / Learn360), be prepared to go on a scavenger hunt / web quest to answer the following:
    • How do you get access to the videos… online or offline?
    • How can you search for content by standards?
    • Can the content stand alone?
    • How relevant is the content to your students?
    • What are the usage rights for the content?
  • Curate -> Customize -> Create: Advancing toward student personalization (and even differentiation… or “Fliperentiation“?) without getting lost in iMovie!
  • Delivery Discussion: How do you get a video from point T to point S?

    • Office 365
